About Me

My name is Michelle, but lots of folks call me Shelly.  How did I get to this point?  Well, I have always been interested in glass - glass blowing, stained glass, anything glass.  When I stumbled across the art of lampworking on Pinterest, I was fascinated.  Molten glass being made into something as small and as beautiful as the beads I was seeing was irresistible to me.  I have a thing for minatures of any kind so the beads fit snugly into that category as well.

Now through a crazy leap of faith I am fortunate enough to offer you what I make with my own hands, some glass rods and a bit of heat.  My desire is for every customer to be satisfied with their purchase as I take pride in the quality and workmanship I put into the beads I produce.

I am a member of the Midwest Lampworkers Guild and the International Society of Glass Beadmakers.  Both of these organizations are proud partners with the Beads of Courage program which provides arts-in-medicine for children with serious illness.
